Breathe easy knowing that your sanctuary has safe clean air. Our indoor air quality systems can either be stand alone or easily integrated into your existing forced air system. They can be designed to remove dust, mold spore, pollen, animal dander, smoke, virus, bacteria, and even odors! heating
Warmth is often a need in the Santa Cruz Mountains, it keeps you happy and comfortable. It also helps keep your environment dry during the damp winter season. We specialize in high efficiency heating systems that are custom designed to meet the individual needs of each client. If you need to upgrade or add heat to your home our estimators will help you determine what system is best for your situation and provide a written proposal. Following the proposal our professional installers will come to your home and carefully install a safe, reliable, and efficient system. From small jobs to big we offer an array of heating services that fit your needs. Simple wall heaters, heat pumps, radiant heat and high efficiency forced air heating systems are among the most common projects we carry out.
If your existing system has distribution problems we can help you by modifying or replacing your existing duct system. Made from the highest quality materials our duct systems are installed carefully and made airtight using duct mastic. For increased flexibility and changing demands our systems always include manual volume dampers in key locations to allow for balancing in the future. If your ducts have been damaged by animals or rodents we can help you design a damage resistant hard pipe duct system. water heaters: TANK & ON - DEMAND
We offer tankless (on-demand) and traditional tank water heater installation. Going green is easy with high efficiency appliances that will reduce your environmental impact and monthly energy costs. Most tankless water heaters pay for themselves over time and provide luxurious constant hot water.

We offer propane conversions for most gas fired equipment. The propane experts at Mountain Propane Service will help answer any questions you may have about using or converting to Propane.

We offer high quality cooling systems that can be integrated into your new or existing heating systems. Or if preferred your cooling system can be stand alone. Our reliable systems offer extremely efficient and quiet operation. We also offer high quality mini-split ductless heat pumps if ducted systems are not a practical option. Heating and Air Conditioning systems provide a great opportunity for indoor air quality and ventilation improvements. Dust, bacteria, pet dander and more can be filtered out easily through your duct work.
Ventilation
We offer a complete line of ventilation equipment. Such as whole house fans to boost natural ventilation in your home or evaporative coolers that use water to help cool your space. Whether you have an existing system that needs updating or no system at all, we can improve the ventilation of your home! Air flow is an important part of natural ventilation and here in our temperate climate we can take advantage of the fresh air that already exists with a little help from low energy ventilation systems. Air Flow is also important for keeping temperatures consistent throughout your home. We have solutions without duct work that can help fresh air circulate through spaces and many solutions with duct work that fine tune your comfort in every room. Mini-split ductless heat pumps
Mountain Service Company features Fujitsu mini split ductless heat pumps. These systems provide comfort for one room or the whole house. Mini split systems provide quiet economic heating and cooling for your home. They can be installed in places where traditional ducted systems may not fit. There are now many options available. indoor air quality
Clean air! We all deserve the best air quality we can get. Pollen, pet dander, dust, and bacterial particulates can all cause discomfort and health problems, give your family clean and fresh air with the installation of a special filter and an ultraviolet air purification system. High efficiency filter types include: washable electrostatic filter, deep pelted filters, True HEPA filters, and electronic air cleaners. These filters remove particulate matter such as dust, dust mites, pollen, and pet dander. Ultraviolet air purification systems are designed to remove bacteria and viruses from the air you breathe. For a greater air quality system we offer Electronic air cleaners which can even remove smoke!

Mountain Service Company installs gas line systems both below ground and above ground. We offer the latest technology including Poly systems and corrugated stainless steel tubing. Gas lines are an important part of your system and when done right they ensure safe efficient operation of your gas fired equipment.
RADIANT FLOOR HEATING
We custom design radiant heating systems that can be in floor, baseboard, or radiators. We can even install a radiant heated towel rack in your bathroom. Radiant heat is extremely comfortable, very quiet, and has the added benefit of being hypoallergenic.
